Just finished the poetry project. I quite enjoyed doing this project. I'm not all that into poetry to be honest. In school I loathed it almost as much having to read Shakespeare plays. The poem I used for the project though was one that I did enjoy and one that I already had strong images in my head baout. When it came to actually desiging the set for the project the finished design was totally different to the way I pictured it in my head from earlier readings. If I was able to do the project as I really wanted to I would have probably have made a film. I really wanted to set it to some haunting Gaelic music I'd searched out and just to film the landscape and capture the change in the light and the dying out of the sun as the sunset. I don't have access to a video camera however so that plan was out the window. I enjoyed the project though and I did get quite involved in it.
At the moment alot of folk are working from home just now. It's undestandable when it's quite far for people to get here in a lot of cases. I kinda miss the contact with other humans though. Don't get me wrong Alek and Jess are in alot but you couldn't really refer to either of those characters as quite human. It'll be cool though cos we're about to start our projects that we will be working on together. I'm really looking forward to this and although it would untrue to say collaborating with a diva doesn't worry me slightly, I'm sure I'll still enjoy working with Grant and find the experience productive if somewhat challenging.
Right I'm off now. I'm dying of a hangover and it's really starting to piss me off so I've nothing more to say.
